Dr. P. Ruban
He is an Assistant Professor in Biotechnology, SNMV College of Arts and Science, India. He has been involved in research for more than one decade. His research experience spans varying fields such as Marine Biotechnology, Environmental biotechnology, Agricultural biotechnology, Nanotechnology. He has participated in more than 100 seminars, symposia, and workshops. He participated in more than 150 webinar programs and published more than 130 research articles including books and 4 patent from various field. One of his manuals has been implemented in the Bharathiar University syllabus. He started his teaching career at Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore and around 10 years of service. He is a recognized research supervisor by the Bharathiar University and 4 research scholars received M.Phil. and PhD degrees under his guidance. He has completed two projects with government and consultancy agencies. He organized more than 10 National and International conferences. He is a member/university nominee on the Boards of studies in Biotechnology (UG and PhD). He is a Question paper screening board member in Nehru College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. He was given a coordinator in mushroom cultivation in SNMV CAS. He is lifetime member of the International Society for Applied Life Sciences, editor and reviewer in various reputed journals. His research area includes Marine Biotechnology, Environmental biotechnology, Agricultural biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Microbial Biotechnology.
