Dr. Ashutosh Kumar

He is an Assistant Professor of Plant/Crop Physiology at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, India. He did his Ph.D. with specialization in Plant Physiology from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India.  He qualified ICAR-NET in Plant Physiology conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), New Delhi. He is significantly contributed in the field of plant physiology. He has more than seven years’ experience in research activities in the subject of stress physiology focused mainly on heat and drought tolerance in wheat and has also associated with various projects funded by NICRA at ICAR-IIWBR, Karnal and CIMMYT-Arcadia-USAID-ICAR project at ICAR- NBPGR, New Delhi. He has also received various recognitions like Young Scientist Award by National Environmental Science Academy, New Delhi, M.S. Swaminathan Research Fellow-2021 by PLANTICA Foundation and Best Paper Award in International Conferences. He has more than 25 publications to his credit including peer reviewed research articles, review articles, book chapters and popular articles. Besides, he has authored two books published by Scientific and JAYA Publication, India. He has been serving as an editorial board member and reviewer of reputed journals. He has attended various International and National conferences, Seminars, Workshops and Trainings and presented his research works. His area of Specialization includes Abiotic Stress Physiology, and Crop Physiology.
